To my “professional” peers,
LinkedIn gave me access to a world of undoubtedly the most courageous trailblazers in this digital revolution.
Your content allowed me to grow and understand so much more than I feel I would have on other platforms.
Your genuine self expression through writing, sales copy, videos and memes resonated and made me feel like I was connected with at least a small group of people.
Your content would invoke the deepest of emotions and my LinkedIn feed became my personal 8 ball to feed them.
Likely that dopemine thirst we’ve all been hearing about.
Selfless content.
Sharing treasures that may have took you years to obtain.
You shared your powerful growing experiences that you digested into valuable wisdom.
I realized that I wasn’t different though.
I grew to realize that we all have an innate ability to be creative.
A genuine belief that we’re all creative.
Whether we consciously know or understand in the moments we feel that flow take control of our expressions.
My definition of creativity was based on my experiences and I ignorantly associated creativity with stereotypes of abstract art and snooty people.
I watched as society crossed over expressively into this digital ecosystem.
Those who had the courage to be vulnerable eventually established a tribe and those who stayed true it thrived even more.
My most notable appreciation is to those creators that remained true to themselves, their principles and beliefs while under the pressures of cancel culture, censorship and societal shaming.
What makes us all different?
To be simple, it’s our dna, personal experiences and the environment we live within. The creative chemistry happens when we combine these elements with our passions and drive.
In this world, your ability to create is both a power and a responsibility.
Your tribe counts on you. Sometimes even foolishly.
Empower, Encourage and Inspire
Yes, all our lives are different, but they’re also very much the same.
When we enter this digital realm we are all seeing many of the same news, videos, and memes.
This is as much a digital revolution as it is a freedom revolution. A revolution where the free will to do good shouldn’t be stifled by algorithms and fact checkers.
This technology can serve us greatly with genuine hearts, but it’s the money, power and greed that we’re in a constant battle with.
Stand by your principles, question everything, and think critically when processing information.
I will never self censor my opinions, beliefs and values.
